• Experience with Linux administration is must.

• Experienced with PostgreSQL & PostgreSQL Architecture.

• Must have knowledge of installing, monitoring, troubleshooting and configuring PostgreSQL servers

• Must have strong knowledge and working experience as a Database Administrator

• Implement and Maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).

• Monitoring Vacuum, Reindexing, Archiving scripts and logs.

• Establish and maintain Database backup and recovery and PITR.

• Implementing PostgreSQL related tools such as pgBadger and pgadmin.

• Database Tuning, Management and Security, Availability, Performance.

• Strong SQL knowledge in generating customized reports,

• Replication setup and monitoring over database cluster

• Must have performed Database version upgradation & migration

• Bash/Shell scripting knowledge is required.

• NoSQL/MongoDB knowledge will be an added advantage.

• Collaborate with application stake holders for resolving various levels of issues.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Experience:

5 years of relevant experience in DBA.

Education Qualification:

BE(CS&IT)/MCA/ from any institution
